Google Places, Bing Maps, Yahoo Local, Yelp, and the rest of the fabulous local directories along with Smartphones are a local businesses best friends these days!

It’s no secret by now.  Smartphones are here to stay, our kids are growing up on them, you almost have to have one to stay plugged in from a business standpoint these days.

When 4G LTE really rolls out or whatever technology comes next 5G, 6G?  Phones are going to keep getting smarter and faster on the web.

You have to be in America’s phones before the competition  AND on top of them in mobile local search results for your keywords in your market!!

   You’re Google, Bing, Yahoo, ect. Maps, Places, Local Business Centers,  whatever they are calling the important local directories in your are.   You have to be at the top of those results!!

So mobile marketing very close ties into your Local Search Marketing and general SEO, search engine optimization for all your web stuff.  Make sure your web properties are mobile friendly and that your collecting phone numbers and building a SMS mailing  list along with your email list.

The wildcard in the mobile space is the cost associated with sending a text message compared to an email.  They can be pricey if you go through the wrong providers.
